Dachshund Family Fun Day•
Posted on 25 May 2016
On the weekend we spent the day with our sausage friends and their humans at the Dachshund Family Fun Day in Donvale to help raise funds and awareness for DISA (Dachshund IVDD Support Australia).
The day started like any other. We got dragged out of bed and dressed in our finest walking gear - much earlier than we're used to on a Saturday, hence the bed head and lopsided ears.
There were so many gorgeous little sausage dogs in attendance. Different shapes, sizes, ages, coat types and noise outputs.
There was even a little dachshund fashion show!
And sausage races.
And even a sausage sizzle! (far too graphic to photograph)
We also got to witness the beginning of a beautiful budding relationship. Ah, young love!
Thank you DISA for hosting such a wonderful day. To find out more about DISA and the incredible work they do, please check out their website - www.ivdd.com.au
